Job summary

Excellis Recruitment Ltd has a Junior CAD Technician role in Gravesend, Kent. You will produce and update 2D AutoCAD drawings for live projects, create and amend as-built drawings after installation works, and support Project Managers with drawing revisions and technical documentation.

This is a full-time permanent role with on-the-job training and a clear path to becoming a fully-fledged CAD Technician in a growing team.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge or experience using AutoCAD.
• A relevant qualification, apprenticeship or CAD experience.
• Good attention to detail and an organised approach to work.
• Comfortable working with technical drawings and documentation.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and update 2D AutoCAD drawings for live projects.
• Create and amend as-built drawings following installation works.
• Support Project Managers with drawing revisions and technical documentation.
• Organise and maintain drawing registers and digital project files.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, up to date and issued correctly.
• Liaise with engineers to incorporate site changes into project drawings.
• Assist with general project administration where required.
• Develop your CAD skills through on-the-job training and mentoring.
