A family-run business in fire protection is seeking a Junior CAD Technician in South Molton. Responsibilities
  • Gain hands‑on experience in CAD design.

Requirements
  • Basic understanding of AutoCAD in either 2D, 3D or Revit design principles.
  • Strong mathematical and physics knowledge to support your technical work.
  • Excellent IT skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise with clients and colleagues in assisting the senior engineer with ongoing projects.
  • Proven ability to problem‑solve and meet deadlines, with a methodical and detail‑oriented approach.
Qualifications
  • A grade C or above in mathematics.
  • Relevant experience in a similar engineering or design-focused environment, either through school or college projects, internships or previous employment.
  • A passion for the engineering and manufacturing industry, with an interest in building systems.
