Qualifications

• Strong academic background with at least a 2:1 degree in a STEM subject.
• Some commercial experience developing software with C#.
• Good understanding of .NET / .NET Core.
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• Understanding of SQL and relational databases.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Genuine enthusiasm for software engineering and learning new technologies.
• Desire to understand how and why systems work, not just write code.
• Good communication skills and ability to learn from experienced developers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enhance applications using C# and modern .NET.
• Work on real-time, performance-critical trading technology.
• Learn directly from experienced senior software engineers.
• Build new features and improve existing systems.
• Write clean, maintainable and well-tested code.
• Work with SQL and relational databases.
• Investigate technical issues and troubleshoot production systems.
• Participate in code reviews, testing and debugging.
