Job summary

Millennium is a global, diversified alternative investment firm seeking to enhance its equity risk modeling and trading capabilities. You will collaborate with quantitative researchers and software engineers to translate model specs into actionable technical requirements.

You will own end-to-end requirements for risk tools, design model/data integrations, and perform rigorous data analysis and prototyping to ensure accuracy and reliability for investment professionals.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of sell-side experience.
• Strong SQL and Python for data analysis and prototyping.
• Experience with Agile software development lifecycle.
• Ability to translate complex mathematical concepts to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate model specifications and investment strategies into technical requirements.
• Manage end-to-end requirements for equity risk modeling and trading tools.
• Design and integrate quantitative models and datasets into trading and risk infrastructure.
• Perform data analysis and prototyping to validate model inputs/outputs and ensure data integrity.
• Develop and maintain functional specifications, model logic documentation, and data dictionaries.
• Conduct end-user testing and feature validation to ensure alignment with business intent.
• Conduct discovery to understand asset classes and emerging technologies relevant to investing.
