We’re hiring! Aon is currently recruiting a Junior Broker, Treaty Reinsurance, to join our Specialty Casualty team in London.

About the Role:

As a Junior Broker, some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Collection and analysis of data necessary for the preparation of market submissions and presentations
  • Liaising with clients to validate data received. Responding to Reinsurers questions on all data elements
  • Liaising with clams and premiums functions within Aon to validate information
  • Technical and administrative support for the Account Executive team in placing and servicing Treaty Reinsurance
  • Generation and review of contractual documentation (including contract wordings, endorsements, invoices, and evidence of cover)
  • Resolution of queries received from clients and reinsurers – liaising with colleagues within other departments and local offices as necessary
  • Working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests, or reputation of any Group Company
About you:

Your knowledge and expertise:

  • High level of IT competency; high level in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Data analysis abilities, including identifying errors and resolution
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Great communication skills
  • Experience of working in a client-facing environment
  • Technical (re)insurance knowledge preferred but minimum of 3 years experience working with (re)insurance portfolio data required.
