Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Junior AV Installation Engineer to join a two-person installation team in the Birmingham and Midlands region. The role offers a salary of £26,000 - £32,000 plus a company vehicle, specialist tools and equipment, manufacturer training, and ongoing technical development.

You will assist with installations on university and commercial projects, gaining hands-on training and progression opportunities while developing your skills under an experienced Lead

Qualifications

Previous experience in AV installation, structured cabling, or electrical work is preferred.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn are essential.
Strong practical and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working on customer sites and in live environments.

Responsibilities

Assist with AV installations across education and commercial environments.
Support installation, termination and testing of AV systems.
Work with a Lead Engineer on site-based projects.
Maintain high installation standards and safe working practices.
Travel throughout the Midlands with occasional overnight stays.
