Junior Automation Engineer

York (Commutable from: Leeds, Bradford, North Yorkshire, Tockwith, Harrogate, Wetherby, Leeds, Tadcaster, Garforth)

Do you have Automation, Robotics or Controls experience looking to join a national‑leader in a highly versatile and exciting role, working on multi‑million pound projects? On offer is the opportunity to receive full technical training across future‑focused Robotics within a stable business known for their retention and development plans. This world‑renowned manufacturer supplies bespoke equipment into the Events sector. This is a permanent role due to continued growth. In this varied role you will be based both from their main workshop in York and occasional site travel. You will work on a Monday – Friday days basis performing design, assembly and commissioning of specialist automation/robotic systems. This role would suit someone looking for a career utilising various controls, a keen eye in technology and a job where you work on bespoke systems being brought to life.

The Role:
  • Design, programming and commissioning on systems.
