Nova Biochem, based in Nottingham, is seeking a Junior Analytical Chemist to join its growing laboratory team. You will support sample preparation, perform analyses with GC-MS, GPC, GC-FID and HPLC, and record data to high standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in chemistry or related field required.
• 1–2 years in industrial chemistry or analytical labs preferred.
• Experience with chromatography instruments (GC-MS, GC-FID, HPLC) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process samples from depolymerisation processes for analysis.
• Support routine analysis using GC-MS, GPC, GC-FID, and HPLC.
• Record experimental conditions, results and observations accurately.
• Follow established analytical methods and safety procedures.
• Maintain basic laboratory cleanliness and equipment upkeep.
