Are you passionate about working with children and inspiring them to live active, healthy lives?
We’re looking for an enthusiastic and caring Junior Activities Assistant to join an energetic team, supporting the smooth running of their children’s activity programmes.

In this role, you’ll help deliver fun, engaging sessions for children aged 0–16, ensuring a safe, inclusive and positive environment where every child can thrive. You’ll play a key part in promoting wellbeing, encouraging participation and building lasting relationships with families and young members.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Supporting and supervising children during activities, clubs and sessions.
  • Creating a fun, energetic and safe atmosphere that inspires confidence and participation.
  • Working with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging activity programmes.
  • Ensuring all safeguarding and health & safety procedures are followed.
  • Providing excellent customer care to children and parents.
  • Helping to maintain equipment and activity areas to a high standard.
What We’re Looking For
  • Level 2 qualification (or higher) in a child-related field
  • Experience working with children (school, nursery, sports or youth settings)
  • A positive, energetic and flexible attitude
  • Great communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusion
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays when required
Desirable
  • Experience with children aged 0–16 years
  • Experience working towards activity or participation targets
  • Previous customer service or team-based experience
