Job summary

Blusource is recruiting a Junior / Semi Senior Accountant to join a well-established accountancy practice. The role covers accounts, audit, tax and VAT, with study support offered towards ACA or ACCA.

You will work in a team to prepare accounts and tax work for a varied client portfolio and gain exposure to audit assignments. As you develop, you’ll take on greater responsibility, liaise directly with clients, and support more junior colleagues, while contributing to multiple client projects and

Qualifications

• Experience in accounts and tax work across varied client portfolio
• Exposure to audit assignments desirable
• Ability to liaise with clients and stakeholders
• Willingness to develop towards ACA or ACCA through study support

Responsibilities

• Prepare working papers and statutory accounts for limited companies
• Prepare accounts for sole traders and partnerships
• Prepare tax computations and VAT returns
• Assist with or complete audit assignments as experience allows
• Liaise with clients to obtain records and resolve queries
• Help manage workload and meet budgets and deadlines
• Support junior team members as needed
