A regional Accountancy Practice in Sheffield is looking for a Junior Accountant to join their expanding accounts team. This role is tailored for individuals who are AAT Part-Qualified or Qualified and currently working in an Accountancy Practice. You will process client invoices, maintain financial records, assist with VAT and CIS submissions, and help prepare year-end accounts. The firm offers a supportive culture with flexible hours, full study support for AAT/ACA/ACCA, and competitive pay up to £32,000.
Qualifications
AAT Part-Qualified or Qualified candidates are welcome to apply.
Experience in an Accountancy Practice is essential.
Responsibilities
Process client invoices and perform bank reconciliations.
Maintain accurate financial records for a diverse client portfolio.
Assist with the preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns.
Assist with the preparation and submission of CIS returns.
Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and financial statements.
Provide support to clients directly over the phone and via email.
