  • Contribute to month‑end bookkeeping activities such as posting intercompany transactions and accruals journals to ensure accurate records.
  • Perform accounts receivable and accounts payable analysis, collaborating with different teams to resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Prepare VAT returns for review and assist with withholding tax calculations and submissions for CFO approval.
  • Participate in year‑end audit procedures and statutory accounts or tax filings for UK and EU entities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Complete various reports and provide ad hoc financial analysis to management as needed.
  • Identify repetitive finance processes suitable for automation, proposing solutions using tools like Power BI, Excel macros, RPA technologies (UiPath, Power Automate), or other AI‑enhanced systems.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to implement process improvements and drive digital transformation initiatives within the finance department.
  • Support data integrity efforts by contributing to the design of automated dashboards, reporting tools, and participating in testing or rollout of new accounting systems or AI‑driven tools.
What You Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field with an excellent academic track record; ACA or ACCA (or equivalent) qualified or part‑qualified is preferred but not essential.
  • Ideally 2-4 years of hands‑on accounting experience within a professional setting.
