Job summary

A market leading company in Slough is seeking a Junior Accountant to assist in accounting, budgeting, and management reporting. In this role, you will prepare month-end accounts, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and help with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in finance or management accounts and be studying towards ACCA or CIMA. Strong Excel skills and attention to detail are essential. As a Junior Accountant you will assist in accounting, budgeting and management reporting within the division. You will receive a competitive package and full study support

Responsibilities

• Assisting in preparation of month end accounts to meet reporting deadlines.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with preparation of budgets, forecasts and reforecasting.
• Assisting with annual auditing.Ensure accurate accounting for inter-company transactions.
• Maintain the fixed asset register, including recording additions, disposals, and calculating depreciation.
• Assist in the preparation of VAT and intrastate reports, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in a finance or management accounts function
• Studying towards ACCA or CIMA
• Fully computer literate and an advanced user of Excel
