Job summary

Zest is seeking a motivated Junior Account Manager to join our UK food import and distribution team. You will receive full training from the Commercial Manager and Director as you learn the business, products, and customers, while developing your sales skills across a broad product range.

You will build long-term relationships with customers and suppliers, manage accounts, and contribute to expanding product distribution.

Qualifications

• Background in sales and a passion for this type of role.
• Experience in food or drink industry selling to foodservice, B2B or retail is a plus.
• Eager to learn and take on a new challenge.
• Organised, proactive and commercially minded.

Responsibilities

• Developing sales and expanding product distribution across the market.
• Building and maintaining long-term relationships with new and existing customers and suppliers.
• Managing customer accounts and visits (driving licence required).
• Providing feedback on customer opportunities and market information.
• Monitoring sales and stock levels to plan supply effectively.
• Tracking market conditions and pricing and preparing costing sheets.
