Job summary

Halfords is looking for a Junior Account Manager in Redditch to join our Fleet department. You’ll be the day‑to‑day point of contact for customers, handling queries, coordinating activities and providing administrative support to keep fleet operations running smoothly.

You’ll work closely with Account Managers and suppliers, ensuring timely responses, accurate records and proactive issue resolution. A customer‑focused approach and organisational skills will help you thrive in a hybrid role at

Qualifications

  • Experience in a customer service role – ideally from within an office environment but not essential.
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities and ensure actions are followed through.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal to build effective relationships with customers, colleagues, suppliers and other partners.
  • A proactive approach, with the ability to identify potential issues rather than simply reacting to them.
  • Good problem-solving skills and the ability to take ownership of issues through to resolution.

About the role

As a Junior Account Manager within our Fleet department, you'll play a key role in delivering an excellent experience for our customers by ensuring their day-to-day fleet requirements are managed efficiently and professionally. You'll act as a trusted point of contact, handling customer queries, coordinating operational activities and providing administrative support to help keep fleet operations running smoothly.

Working closely with Account Managers, suppliers and internal teams, you'll take ownership of customer requests and operational issues from start to finish, ensuring actions are completed and customers remain informed throughout the process.
