A recruitment agency in Reading is seeking a Junior Account Manager to develop client relationships and manage recruitment processes. The successful candidate will ensure exceptional service delivery while supporting the Senior Manager. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Develop a strong understanding of the company approach, processes, and procedures.
  • Act as the main point of contact for client liaison on-site.
  • Oversee candidate selection, interviews, registration, and induction processes.
  • Maintain and update in-house databases for both client and employee records.
  • Complete and submit a daily activity schedule to document activities.
  • Conduct regular site visits, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Monitor and report attendance figures for workforce management.
  • Manage the advertising and filling of vacancies.
  • Gather and act upon worker and client feedback.
  • Provide excellent account management for existing client contracts.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours phone rota to provide client support.

Job Title: Junior Account Manager

Reports to: Senior Manager

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (participation in out-of-hours phone rota required)

Overview

The Junior Account Manager plays a key role in maintaining and developing client relationships, managing recruitment processes, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build lasting partnerships with clients and candidates alike. The successful candidate will support the Senior Manager in driving business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Gravity Personnel approach, processes, and procedures.
  • Act as the main point of contact for client liaison on-site, introducing new business opportunities where appropriate.
  • Oversee candidate selection, interviews, registration, and induction processes.
  • Maintain and update in-house databases for both client and employee records.
  • Complete and submit a daily activity schedule to document recruitment and client servicing activities.
  • Conduct regular site visits, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company standards.
  • Monitor and report attendance figures for workforce management and performance tracking.
  • Manage the advertising and filling of vacancies, including planning and executing recruitment drives during peak periods.
  • Gather and act upon worker and client feedback, proactively resolving issues to ensure service satisfaction.
  • Provide excellent account management for existing client contracts, maintaining daily communication and building strong working relationships.
  • Support any additional tasks delegated by the Senior Manager in line with operational goals.
  • Participate in the out-of-hours phone rota to provide responsive client support.
