Job summary

Whetstone Field Primary School is seeking a friendly Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team. The role involves supervising pupils in the dining hall and playground, helping children enjoy a safe, sociable lunchtime, and supporting pupils who may need additional help. It is 6.25 hours per week, term time only.

Salary is Grade G1, SCP 3, £3510.23 per annum (£12.85 per hour). Start date as soon as possible; closing date Tuesday 8 September. Visits welcomed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with children would be helpful, but not essential, as guidance and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervising pupils in the dining hall and playground.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and good table manners.
• Helping children to enjoy a safe, happy and sociable lunchtime.
• Supporting pupils who may need additional help.
• Setting up and clearing away lunchtime areas.
• Responding appropriately to minor accidents and incidents.
