A leading news organization in London is seeking a Digital News Journalist to produce breaking news content for its live pages. Candidates must demonstrate strong writing skills and experience in fast-paced news environments. This full-time position requires the ability to work shifts in the newsroom, contributing to the BBC's digital content and engaging a wide audience.

LOCATION: London Broadcasting House - it’s shift based role in the NBH newsroom and not hybrid.
PROPOSED SALARY RANGE: £28,400 - £38,750 depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
The BBC News live page team produces and runs live new blogs on breaking news and the biggest stories in the world, attracting millions of people to our pages. Our pages are often the most prominent part of the BBC news website. As part of the digital team you’ll help to drive the pages by writing and using pictures, videos, and live streams to bring audiences fast, insightful coverage.
The digital team manages and writes a wide variety of live content – anything from global conflicts to music festivals. No two shifts are the same. It’s a busy, varied role working in a very prominent team, where sharp succinct writing is valued. We encourage members of the team to bring fresh ideas and perspectives on pages that can expand our appeal to broader audiences, especially younger people. Live journalists have had the chance to file reports into our pages from award ceremonies, court cases and at different BBC bureaux.
