A leading healthcare organization in Dundee is seeking a Management Accountant/Trainee to provide financial support to Health and Social Care services. The role requires relevant management accounting experience, strong analytical skills, and effective communication. With effect from 01 April 2026, NHS Scotland is reducing its full time working week from 37 to 36 hours per week, there will be no change in full time pay.
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a high calibre Accountant to provide professional financial advice and support to Dundee Health and Social Care Partnership which is a partnership between Dundee City Council and NHS Tayside, providing community-based health and social care services for the citizens of Dundee.
The successful candidate will work across NHS Tayside and Dundee City Council systems to provide management accounting services to local integrated health and social care services with a combined budget of around £320m.
You will be closely involved in providing financial support to managers as they continue to develop and enhance operational and strategic plans to meet the evolving needs of our population.
You should have relevant management accounting experience, and either be fully qualified or making progress towards a professional accountancy qualification. Strong analytical skills, a proactive approach, creative, the ability to manage change and to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders are essential qualities.

Salary placement will be dependent on progress towards full membership of a recognised professional accountancy body and/or experience to date.
