Job summary

Thorn Baker is partnered with a family-run joinery manufacturer to recruit an experienced Joinery Project Manager for their Operations team in London/Stockbridge. You will lead projects from inception to completion, balancing scope, schedule, cost and risk while ensuring top-tier client service.

The role requires joinery industry knowledge, strong site leadership, and qualifications such as CSCS, SMSTS, and RAMS.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams on high-end construction install sites.
• Joinery background and industry knowledge.
• CSCS Card, Basic First Aid, SMSTS qualifications.
• Basic RAMS risk analysis knowledge and RAMS production.

Responsibilities

• Manage and deliver projects from inception to completion, covering scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources.
• Protect clients' commercial interests through documentation and record keeping with a robust but fair stance.
• Provide a single point of contact to the customer with excellent service.
• Ensure contractors are satisfied with performance to secure repeat business.

Thorn Baker has teamed up with a family-run joinery manufacturer with an outstanding reputation and nearly 35 years of joinery heritage. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join their Operations team and support them with their growth in demand.

Your Responsibilities:

• To successfully manage and deliver projects from inception through to completion, managing and being responsible for the 6 aspects of a project - scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources.
• To protect the client's commercial interests, through documentation and record keeping with a robust but fair and helpful stance to the client.
• To always provide one point of contact to the customer with exceptional customer service, underwriting this.
• To ensure that the contractor is pleased with the client's performance and comes back for repeat business.

Required Skills:

• Experience in running teams and managing high-end construction installation sites.
