Job summary

Netbox Recruitment represents a Sidcup-based manufacturer seeking a Joinery & Assembly Operative. You will assemble timber door sets to spec, read drawings and work with routers, chisels and drills on a busy production line.

Hours are full-time and permanent with strong overtime opportunities, a company pension, and ongoing training to support career progression in a growing business.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have experience in joinery, carpentry, woodworking or similar manufacturing environments.
• Comfortable reading technical drawings, job specifications and production instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Assemble timber door sets and components to specification.
• Route and prepare doors for hinges, locks, vision panels and ironmongery.
• Use woodworking hand and power tools (routers, chisels, drills).
• Read and interpret drawings and production instructions.
• Quality checks along the production process.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.
