Job summary

Progress Housing Group is seeking a skilled Joiner to perform reactive repairs, void re-instatement, and planned maintenance across client properties in Leyland. You will conduct a range of joinery tasks to high standards, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion while liaising with customers and teams.

The role requires a recognised trade qualification, a UK driving licence, CSCS, and a strong emphasis on health and safety. The position is based in Leyland with standby duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Qualified joiner with a recognised trade qualification (NVQ/SVQ/City & Guilds).
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Strong knowledge of joinery for internal/external works.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations and risk assessments.
• Experience dealing with customers and keeping clear records.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive repairs, void re-instatement, planned maintenance and installation work across properties.
• Complete joinery works to a high standard with safety, quality and productivity in mind.
• Follow health and safety requirements and relevant regulations; meet repair deadlines.
• Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders; explain work carried out.
