You will be responsible for producing high-quality bespoke joinery, including tasks such as fitting ironmongery and glazing. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to work under deadlines, and experience with machinery. Candidates should be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Own transport is essential due to the rural location.

Joiner / Machinist

Venables Oak is one of Shropshire’s leading timber merchants and bespoke joinery manufacturers. We are looking for an experienced Joiner/Machinist to join our busy and skilled team.

You will be working within a workshop environment that produce & finish oak high-quality bespoke joinery. Jobs will include fitting ironmongery, glazing & framing. Attention to detail is a must, working to deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.

Experience operating machinery such as spindle moulders and four-sided planers is desirable. Occasional site work may also be required. Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a thriving team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Salary: Competitive and dependent on experience
Transport: Own transport essential due to rural location
