Job summary

Core Group is seeking experienced joiners for a construction project in Northampton. The role involves UK-site work on a 11–12 week contract with a rate of £200-£210 per day. Start date is 19/10/2026, CSCS is required, and candidates should have own tools and references.

Duties include first and second fix joinery, installing doors/frames/skirting, architraves and ironmongery, and working from drawings while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Valid CSCS Card is required.
• 2 checkable references.
• Own tools where required.
• Good knowledge of first and/or second fix joinery.
• Previous joinery experience.
• Good understanding of site health & safety.

Responsibilities

• General first and second fix joinery.
• Install doors, frames and skirting.
• Install architraves and ironmongery.
• Fit timber components.
• Basic carpentry and joinery repairs.
• Work from drawings and specifications.
• Measuring, cutting and fitting materials accurately.
• Completing snagging and remedial works.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area.
