Job summary

Thorn Baker Recruitment Ltd in Carlisle is seeking an experienced joiner to work on a high-spec commercial fit-out. The role offers long hours and consistent work on a shopfitting project.

You will perform 1st and 2nd fix joinery, install doors, frames, skirting and timber fittings, and work from drawings. A CSCS card and your own tools are required; willingness to work long hours is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven shopfitting or site joinery experience.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Own tools and PPE.
• Ability to work long hours and deliver high-standard finishes.

Responsibilities

• Installing doors, frames, skirting, counters and timber fittings.
• Working from drawings and site instructions.
• Ensure high-quality finish and safe work within deadlines.
• Assist with general fit-out and finishing tasks as required.
