Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Limited seeks an experienced Joiner for domestic fit-out projects across Glasgow and surrounding areas. You will perform first and second fix joinery, install doors, skirting boards, architraves and bespoke items, and read drawings to ensure precise finishes.

You will work both independently and as part of a team, maintaining safety standards and meeting project timelines. A valid CSCS card and UK driving licence are preferred; own tools advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Joiner in domestic fit-out projects.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry and joinery techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on site.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Joiner to join our growing team, specialising in high-quality fit-outs within domestic properties across Glasgow and surrounding areas.. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all aspects of first and second fix joinery work, delivering excellent craftsmanship and finishing standards across a variety of residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out all aspects of joinery work in domestic properties, including first fix and second fix installations
• Install doors, skirting boards, architraves, kitchens, flooring, stair components, and bespoke joinery items
• Interpret drawings, plans, and specifications accurately
• Work independently and as part of a team to complete projects on time and within budget
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of finish and quality
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment at all times
• Communicate effectively with site managers, clients, and other trades
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company procedures

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Joiner, preferably within domestic fit-out projects
• Valid CSCS card
• Strong knowledge of carpentry and joinery techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on site
• Full UK driving licence (preferred)
• Own tools (desirable)
• Salary up to £36,000 DOE
• 22 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
