A leading audio-visual consultancy in the UK is seeking a Senior Audio Visual Consultant. The role involves designing audio-visual systems for exciting projects, providing innovative solutions, and maintaining industry knowledge. Ideal candidates have experience across various sectors, a passion for live events, and strong design skills. Responsibilities

• Design audio-visual systems and displays including larger format LED screens.
• Provide schematic designs to showcase innovative solutions to clients.
• Coordinate projects with the Client team.

Skills

Understanding the Client AV requirements and production of a Client brief

AV design process both independently and in line with RIBA design stages

Design of AV systems and AV infrastructure

AV system budgets and cost estimates

Project coordination with the Client team

Maintain market knowledge of industry-leading technologies

Ongoing development of our computational design tools including Revit

Experience with performance lighting

Knowledge of key software such as Sketchup, EASE, and Disguise D3

Thrive on openness, respect, and collaboration? Good. Us too. Join as our new Senior Audio Visual Consultant. Buro Happold is looking for a Senior AV Consultant with experience in a variety of sectors including sports and entertainment, cultural, commercial and higher education.

Our team is responsible for developing high-quality audio-visual systems design for large-scale projects around the globe. You will be responsible for audio-visual systems design on challenging projects, examples include The Sphere in Las Vegas, Co-op Arena Live Arena Manchester, Everton FC: Bramley-Moore Dock Stadium and Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, as well as major music events across the UK including the iconic Glastonbury Festival. An interest in live music, broadcast, sports, events, and performing arts is desirable.

For the right candidate we will consider an appointment at Associate grade.

Key Duties:

• Designing audio-visual systems and displays including larger format LED screens and projection.
• Providing schematic designs to showcase innovative solutions to clients.
• Presentation systems
• Video production systems
• Integrated audio solutions
• Broadcast systems

Your skills and experience:

• Understanding the Client AV requirements and production of a Client brief
• AV design process both independently and in line with RIBA design stages
• Design of AV systems and AV infrastructure – Including Audio systems, Projection, LED Screens and Media systems.
• AV system budgets and cost estimates
• Project coordination with the Client team
• Maintain market knowledge of industry-leading technologies
• Ongoing development of our computational design tools including Revit
• Experience with performance lighting would be beneficial
• Knowledge of key software such as Sketchup, EASE and Disguise D3
