Job Overview

Chesterfield College is seeking a part‑time Job Coach to join a passionate and highly effective team. The successful candidate will play a key role in establishing meaningful work placements and Supported Internships for our learners, and provide support and guidance both in college and externally within the students' workplaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support and guidance in college and within the students' workplaces.
  • Advocate for SEND students within their work placement.
Qualifications
  • Passion for enhancing employment opportunities for young people with disabilities.
  • Good working knowledge of reasonable adjustments for a range of disabilities.
  • Skilled at communicating reasonable adjustments and advocating for SEND students within their work placement.
  • Adept at adapting communication to meet the needs of others (employers, learners and their parents).
  • Experience in teaching and supporting skills for the workplace.
Salary and Benefits

£19,681.28 – £21,468.82 (£24,685 – £26,927 pro rata) per annum. Part time (29.5 hours per week / 52 weeks per year). 38 days pro rata paid holiday per year. Membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme. Additional benefits: voucher discount scheme, cycle to work, healthcare plan, free annual flu jabs, and access to an Employee Assistance Programme.
