A dedicated educational institution in Greater London seeks a passionate Job Coach to support young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in their transition to employment. The role includes implementing personalized career plans, delivering training, and coordinating with stakeholders. Salary: Scale 4 Starting at £26,402 (actual pro‑raita salary at 39 weeks)
Contract: Permanent, Full Time, Term Time Only (39 weeks)
We are currently looking to recruit a dedicated and passionate Job Coach to join our Foundation Learning team and support our amazing young people with SEND, in their journey towards successful employment. As a Job Coach, you will work closely with students with diverse abilities, providing guidance, systematic training and support to help them develop the necessary skills and confidence to undertake work experience and secure and maintain meaningful employment for the future.
• Work closely with the SEND Careers Advisor to implement personalised career plans and provide support for SEND career activities.
• Deliver systematic training to help students develop the necessary skills and confidence for work experience and employment.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to ensure students’ progress and well‑being.
• Maintain detailed records and reports for each student.
• Experience working with young people with SEND.
• Excellent communication skills and high organisational ability.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
