Job description

Overview

This is an opportunity to join a well-established, growing contractor that specialises in specialist cleaning and commercial painting projects across the UK. The team takes pride in improving environments, making them cleaner, safer, and brighter for everyone.

We are looking for physically fit, hardworking, and detail-focused individuals to join our team of specialist cleaning technicians. This is a temp-to-perm role with full training provided and the potential for a long-term career.

Responsibilities

• Operate specialist high pressure water jetting equipment
• Travel to multiple sites daily in the Midlands (and occasionally nationwide)
• Maintain all equipment, tools, and vehicles to a high standard
• Complete job paperwork, including PPE stock checks and photographic job reports
• Carry out basic on-site repairs to equipment when needed
• Work both independently and as part of a small team
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a high attention to detail

Pay and Travel Policy

• £15.50/hour starting rate
• Training period: travel time is unpaid
• After training: travel after the first hour each way is paid at your normal hourly rate
• Company van provided for work use once training is complete

Role Requirements

• Physically fit and able to carry out manual work all day
• Full UK Driving Licence
• CSCS card (must be obtained before joining)
• Located within 30 minutes of Nottingham city centre
• Flexible with working hours and able to work at short notice
• Willing to travel and occasionally work away from home
• IPAF and PASMA tickets (advantage but not essential)
