We are the UK's largest end to end drainage solution provider with depots strategically located across the UK from Aberdeen to Plymouth, to ensure round the clock coverage for customers and clients alike.
Responsibilities
- Attending to customers, informing them of works due to be carried out and answering any concerns
- Inspect drainage systems to identify blockages, leaks, or damage that could hinder water flow
- Reporting all findings / data to the appropriate teams
- Assisting with all aspects of high pressure water jetting
- Operate high-pressure water jetting equipment to clean and clear blockages in drains, sewers, pipes, and other wastewater systems
- Adjust pressure levels based on the condition of the system and the nature of the blockage (e.g., grease, debris, or tree roots)
- Use the equipment to remove waste materials and prevent build-up in drains and sewer lines
- Competent in using an electronic device - laptop / tablet for data entry purposes
- Ensuring safety issues are reported in line with company procedures
- Perform routine maintenance and servicing of high-pressure water jetting equipment to ensure it is in proper working order
- Assist with CCTV inspections where required to assess the condition of underground pipes and sewers
Experience and qualifications
- You'll need a UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points
- You will hold an up to date CSCS card (desirable)
- Familiarity with high pressure jetting equipment is preferred, but drainage experience is not essential as training is provided
- A high pressure water jetting certificate would be good, but it's not essential
- We will also train you to assist our Jet Vac and CCTV team
- You'll be polite and respectful when dealing with customers and the public, and observe all health and safety procedures
- You'll love working outdoors. Being flexible is essential; we operate 24/7 with early starts, weekend working and an out-of-hours call-out rota
