Job summary

UBS Jersey is seeking a Lead Entity Controller to head the Jersey location's financial and regulatory reporting for two branches with a combined balance sheet above $100bn. The role focuses on partnering with key stakeholders, including the Jersey FSC, to strengthen finance’s role in decision making.

You will manage a local team and collaborate with near-shore resources to deliver IFRS financials and regulatory reporting, while guiding continuous improvement and AI-led initiatives within Group

Qualifications

• Extensive post-qualification experience in a finance position.
• Senior leader in a financial services Finance function with team management.
• Finance, Economics or Accounting degree; Big 4 experience preferred.
• Wealth Management sector experience is an asset.
• Proven record delivering strategic and tactical process change.
• Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail.
• Excellent communicator to senior managers.
• MS Excel and PowerBI proficiency; AI/automation knowledge; Axiom experience is an asset.
• Motivated, self-directed and creative.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Jersey location financial and regulatory reporting team across two branches with a combined balance sheet of +$100bn.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, notably Jersey Management Committee and Jersey FSC; partner for decision making.
• Oversee competing deliverables including Group Finance’s AI focus and AmpliFi ledger implementation; drive continuous improvement for Jersey reporting.
• Drive a scalable Jersey Finance function delivering full reporting for two Jersey Branches without incremental headcount.
