Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Software Engineer III in its Commercial and Investment Bank technology team in London. You will lead the implementation of critical technology solutions across multiple domains, delivering secure, scalable products within an agile team.

You will produce architecture artifacts, ensure design constraints are met, and drive continuous improvement through data-informed decisions and robust testing practices.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Java technologies and Spring Boot; REST-based services.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux environments.
• Experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Experience coding in a large corporate environment.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Familiarity with agile methodologies including CI/CD, resilience, and security.
• Exposure to cloud, AI/ML concepts, or mobile disciplines.

• Develop, debug, and maintain code in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages
• Understand the Software Development Life Cycle
• Possess knowledge of agile methodologies including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security
• Exhibit knowledge of software applications and technical processes within disciplines such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile
