Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts.
• Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing and operational stability.
• Experience using enterprise AI-assisted development tools with ability to evaluate outputs for correctness, performance and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity and security considerations.
• Advanced Java skills with experience in Java 11+, Spring Boot and AWS.
• Intermediate familiarity with AWS or other cloud environments.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms and data structures.
• Experience with SDLC and agile methodologies (CI/CD, resiliency and security).
• Knowledge of cloud, artificial intelligence, and platform engineering domains.
• Experience withTransformative AI or LLM-driven solutions.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development and technical troubleshooting beyond routine approaches.
• Writes secure, high-quality Java and React code with limited guidance.
• Uses enterprise AI coding assist tools to improve quality, speed and productivity, with peer review.
• Applies SDLC tools including AI-assisted development to improve automation.
• Designs, develops and maintains cloud-native applications on AWS, considering system impacts.
• Leverages SDLC tools to improve automation and operational stability.
• Gathers and analyzes data from diverse sources to drive software improvements.
• Proactively identifies and solves technical problems, contributing to architecture and coding hygiene.
• Collaborates to foster diversity, opportunity, inclusion and respect.
• Contributes to engineering communities and events exploring new technologies.
