You will develop in Java, SQL and PL/SQL for our ecommerce payments gateway, review code with the team, and collaborate with test engineers to ensure robust, scalable solutions. The role emphasizes quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement in a fast-moving payments environment.

Qualifications

• Quality-focused software delivery in critical industries.
• Solve complex business problems with software.
• Strong Java and large databases experience.
• SQL-based Oracle or similar databases.
• Experience with large code bases and version control.
• Linux development/production environment.
• Bonus: knowledge of the financial services industry.
• Familiar with Scrum, Kanban, SAFe methodologies.
• Experience with AWS cloud technologies.
• Understanding of enterprise compute/storage and networking.

Responsibilities

• Develop in Java, SQL, and PL/SQL for the payments gateway.
• Review payment processing business logic from spec documents.
• Collaborate with test engineers to scope test coverage and automation.
• Design rollout and monitoring strategies for new features.
• Provide support outside office hours for release deployments.
