Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software engineering experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), with exposure to AWS also considered valuable.
• Proven experience in distributed systems programming, including designing and developing scalable, high-performance, and resilient applications.
• Strong understanding of relational database systems, including database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience developing and supporting service‑oriented architecture.
• Strong programming and software development expertise in modern Java.
• Passion for writing clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code, while driving engineering excellence through code reviews and collaboration.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective professional relationships across teams.
• Self‑motivated, curious, and committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of DevOps tools, e.g. Jenkins, Sonar and CI/CD principles
• Experience with React/Angular frameworks
• Financial Services and/or Software Consulting experience
