Job summary

Citi’s Prime Brokerage Technology team in London seeks an engineer to own and deliver components of the Core Prime Brokerage platform using Java and Kotlin. You will work hands-on in an agile environment, applying CI/CD practices and automated testing to improve reliability and performance.

Collaborate with analysts, stakeholders and a global team; participate in design, planning and risk management, and contribute to documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in an App Dev role.
• Demonstrated execution capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and deliver components on the Core Prime Brokerage platform with hands-on development.
• Contribute to agile development, CI/CD, and automated testing improvements.
• Participate in design, planning and estimation discussions with the team.
• Perform detailed analysis of assigned work, breaking it into technical tasks.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to clarify requirements and refine them.
• Create and maintain project and technical documentation.
• Assist in identifying risks or issues and communicate them to the team lead.
• Support production by diagnosing issues and participating in rotations to improve reliability.
