Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in Northampton is seeking a Java Developer to design and deliver scalable enterprise Java applications within our Cloud & Custom Applications practice. You’ll work with a collaborative team to translate complex requirements into robust solutions and contribute to code quality, testing, and modern delivery practices.

Hybrid working blends office, client sites, and remote work.

Qualifications

Experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade Java applications.
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software engineering best practices.
Ability to interpret requirements and low-level designs and translate them into high-quality solutions.
Experience working effectively within a collaborative development team environment.
Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Understanding of coding standards, code quality principles, and secure development practices.
Experience writing and executing unit tests to validate solution quality.
Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and resolve technical issues effectively.
Commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and adopting new ways of working.
Awareness of AI-assisted delivery approaches and their application within the software development lifecycle.
