Overview

I am working with a friendly and ambitious software house in the Ipswich area who have a vacancy for a talented mid level Java Developer to help them meet the challenges presented by their continued growth.

Responsibilities

• Work in a small team taking responsibility for key tasks and projects with a significant impact on the business.
• Work across the full software development lifecycle; collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to scope and develop new features for the platform, create new integrations, enhance existing features and integrations, and contribute to the overall support of the platform.
• Take part in more research-oriented projects to explore new technologies and prototype advanced system features.

Qualifications

• At least a couple of years of Java development experience and preferable knowledge of open-source frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• The appetite to get involved with all aspects of the development lifecycle from requirements gathering through to successful delivery to customers.
