Job summary

The role emphasizes code quality, API integration, testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. Proficiency with Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, databases and cloud platforms is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• SC cleared or SC eligible.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java SE and Java EE.
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring Boot, Hibernate and Struts.
• Relational databases: MySQL, Oracle or PostgreSQL, and SQL queries.
• RESTful APIs, JSON and XML.
• Git or similar version control.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Teamwork and ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience in Agile development environment.
• Java certifications, such as Oracle Certified Professional.

Responsibilities

The Role

We are looking for a talented Java Developer to join our team and contribute to the design,

development and maintenance of high-performance applications. The ideal candidate has a solid understanding of Java and is enthusiastic about working with the latest tools and frameworks. You will play a critical role in building scalable, high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Application development: Design, develop and implement Java applications using modern development tools and best practice.
• Code quality: Write clean, scalable code and take part in code reviews to maintain quality.
• API integration: Develop and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between systems and applications.
• Debugging and testing: Identify, troubleshoot and fix defects, and carry out unit and integration tests.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather and understand requirements, and take part in design discussions.
• Performance optimisation: Make sure applications are optimised for speed, scalability and performance.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

What We are Looking For

• SC cleared or SC eligible.
