Job summary

Additional Resources Ltd is seeking a Java Developer to join a specialist cyber technology and software assurance company supporting UK Defence and Critical National Infrastructure programmes. You will develop and enhance secure Java applications, backend services and system integrations within a restricted environment.

The role is a 12-month contract offering a daily rate of £600–£650 and benefits. You will design secure, scalable applications, build RESTful APIs, and work with microservices

Qualifications

Must have active Enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV) security clearance.
Strong experience in Java development in secure environments.
Experience in government or national security environments.
Background working with microservices.
Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and backend services.

Responsibilities

Developing and enhancing Java-based backend services.
Designing and implementing secure, scalable applications.
Building and integrating RESTful APIs.
Working with microservices architectures.
Collaborating with engineers, architects and relevant stakeholders.
Work within an Agile development environment.
Contributing to the development of technology supporting UK national security operations.
