SANZA Teaching Agency is partnering with a welcoming primary school in Central London to recruit an Early Years Class Teacher for a mixed Nursery and Reception class with a January start. The role focuses on delivering a play-based EYFS curriculum and supporting young learners as they begin their educational journey.

You will plan, assess and progress children’s early literacy, language and numeracy skills while working closely with teaching assistants to provide high-quality support.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching within EYFS, ideally Nursery and Reception.
• Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Strong understanding of EYFS framework and child-centred learning.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver a play-based EYFS curriculum in line with the EYFS framework.
• Create a rich learning environment that supports exploration, independence and curiosity.
• Support children’s communication, language, early literacy and numeracy skills.
• Promote personal, social and emotional development and build positive relationships.
• Observe, assess and record progress, adapting activities to meet needs.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and colleagues to provide high-quality support.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers to support learning and wellbeing.
• Ensure safeguarding, health and safety procedures are followed.
