New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading European financial services group in its search for a Credit Manager, Middle Ticket.

The Credit Manager, Middle Ticket will take ownership of expert credit evaluation and underwriting across all business channels, with a primary focus on mid-ticket transactions. This role ensures robust governance, strong credit processes, and timely decision-making across origination, approvals, collateral, and restructuring.
Analyse credit data and financial statements to assess risk and make lending decisions on mid-ticket asset finance proposals.
Interpret internal and external credit, market and broker reports to determine creditworthiness.
Generate and assess financial ratios and collateral curve analyses to evaluate customer risk and portfolio positioning.
Prepare clear, concise and commercially balanced credit recommendations for decision-making.
Exercise delegated sanctioning authority and prepare recommendations for transactions outside personal mandate.
Maintain compliance with internal policies and statutory regulations including AML, TCF and data protection.
Conduct periodic reviews of existing transactions, evaluating payment performance, collateral and market intelligence.
Ensure all transactions meet approved sanctions, credit limits and documentation requirements.
Provide guidance to front-office teams on risk identification, structuring and presentation.
Contribute to continuous improvement of credit processes, governance and operational efficiency.
3–5 years’ credit analysis or underwriting experience within asset finance or commercial lending.
Excellent analytical capability with strong commercial judgement.
Experience underwriting secured and unsecured mid-ticket transactions.
Sound understanding of asset finance products, structures and funding facilities.
Clear and confident communicator, able to present to senior stakeholders.
Experience assessing structured lending and cash-flow based transactions.
Strong Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services; particularly Asset Finance and Leasing.
You will also require relevant in-country experience, without which, your application will not be considered.
