UK: South East England / Southern England (Remote, covering Oxford to Portsmouth and South of M25 to Kent)
To £85,000 + excellent bonus & benefits

New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading UK-based financial services group in its search for a Business Development Manager, Mid Corporates.

Our client is expanding rapidly and looking forward to welcoming a new Business Development Manager (Mid Corporates) — an excellent opportunity to join a high-impact team shaping the future of Asset Finance within the Group.

Key Accountabilities
  • Originate and structure tailored Asset Finance solutions for Mid Corporate clients (£25m–£100m turnover)

  • Develop and manage relationships with clients, introducers, and internal teams to drive deal flow across the South East/Southern England territory (Oxford → Portsmouth, South of M25 → Kent)

  • Lead credit structuring and negotiations to deliver commercially sound, client-focused outcomes

  • Act as a trusted advisor, using insight and expertise to support clients’ strategic growth

  • Collaborate across teams and departments to deliver best-in-class solutions

Person Specification
  • Proven track record of developing and managing Mid Corporate client relationships (£25m–£100m turnover)

  • Strong financial analysis skills, including interpreting financial statements and cash flow

  • Experience in writing credit reports and presenting to credit committees

  • Deep knowledge of Asset Finance products and complex structuring

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • UK in-country experience is essential
