New Leaf Search has partnered with a leading UK-based financial services group in its search for an Business Development Manager, Mid Corporates.

Our client is expanding rapidly and looking forward to welcoming a new Associate Director — an incredible opportunity to be part of a high-impact team that’s scaling quickly and shaping the future of Asset Finance within the Group.

Key Accountabilities
  • Originate and structure tailored Asset Finance solutions for Mid Corporate clients (£25m–£100m turnover)

  • Build strong client, internal, and market introducer relationships to drive high-quality deal flow

  • Lead credit structuring and negotiations to deliver commercially sound, client-focused outcomes

  • Act as a trusted advisor, using market insight and financial expertise to support clients’ growth strategies

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across teams and departments

Person Specification
  • Proven experience managing Mid Corporate client relationships (£25m–£100m turnover)

  • Excellent financial analysis skills, including interpreting financial statements and cash flow

  • Experience writing credit reports and presenting to credit committees

  • Wholesale funding experience

  • Strong knowledge of Asset Finance products and structuring complex funding solutions

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

  • UK in-country experience is essential
