Job summary

Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a qualified dental nurse with a post graduate diploma in sedation to join our dental services across Yeadon, Middleton and Chapeltown. IV sedation is desirable and training will be provided.

You will work with Consultants, Specialists and Dental Therapists, providing clinical and administrative support in a city-wide service, with a focus on high-quality patient care and effective teamwork.

Qualifications

• Qualified dental nurse with a post graduate diploma in sedation.
• IV sedation experience is desirable and training will be provided.
• UK professional registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide chair-side and clerical support to dental clinicians.
• Assist Consultants, Specialists, Senior Dental Officers and Therapists.
• Prepare equipment, materials and medicaments for procedures.
• Record discussions and consent accurately in patient records.
• Support the dental nursing team across clinics in Yeadon, Middleton and Chapeltown.
