Job description

A live-in nanny is needed by this busy family in Notting Hill to provide proper care for their charming baby and toddler. The nanny will be required to give a 24-hour cover for the first 3 months, then the role will move to a full-time, daytime nanny role. The candidate will be required to go back to their own accommodation on the weekends. Experience with newborns is a must. An Italian speaker is a huge bonus. A valid first aid qualification is essential to this position.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 24 hours cover for the first 3 months. Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, after that period.

Accommodation: Own room with bathroom.

Duties
  • Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for infants.
  • Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the children.
  • Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the children.
  • Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park.
  • Encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children.
  • Providing homework assistance and supporting the children’s educational growth.
  • Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children's structure and development.
  • Keeping children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy.
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children.

The family is seeking someone who can start in January 2026.
