Job description

Experience and Qualifications
  • Proven experience providing technical support in a multi-user environment with a focus on network and server maintenance.
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows Server OS, Active Directory, virtualisation technologies (VMware / Hyper‑V) and LAN / WLAN troubleshooting.
  • Relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA Network or Microsoft MCSA / MCSE (highly desirable).
  • Experience in delivering technical training and guidance to teaching and support staff.
Role Overview

You will play a key role in maintaining the reliability, performance and security of the school’s IT network infrastructure. Working closely with the Senior IT Manager you will help to ensure seamless day‑to‑day operations and lead on key infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the school’s network infrastructure, servers and Active Directory environment.
  • Implement and monitor security protocols, user group policies and data protection standards.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for staff and students.
  • Deliver training sessions and technical guidance to enhance digital literacy among staff.
  • Support the school’s ongoing digital transformation and CPD initiatives.
