A technology service provider located in Margate is seeking an IT Technician. You will serve as the primary technical contact for educational institutions, ensuring outstanding support and resolution of IT issues. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting skills, exceptional communication abilities, and experience in fast-paced environments. You have excellent technical and communication skills, a can-do attitude, a natural with customers and committed to delivering an outstanding service. Proficient with Windows, Google Workspace, Apple, Networking, Safeguarding tools and a wide range of other technologies typically found in an Education environment (up to 3rd line services.) A bonus if you have worked in a school/education setting before!
The IT Technician will be based at customer premises, 5 days per week. The primary contact for all their IT needs, their trusted technical partner. You’ll also form part of a small team providing support service to a number of other schools in the area and be required to work closely and support your colleagues located in these other schools.
