A leading educational trust in Chatham is seeking an IT Technician to provide support across multiple academies. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service and communication skills with experience in Microsoft operating systems. You will manage helpdesk tickets and work closely with colleagues to ensure high-quality ICT services. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Technician to join our IT Team (Thinking Technology) within our Strood/Rochester Hub consisting of All Faiths Children's Academy, Cedar Children's Academy, Gordon Children's Academy, Maritime Academy and Rochester Grammar. The role will be based at one site but may require flexible travel to the others.
Reporting to the Regional Technology Manager you will work constructively with colleagues working in Thinking Technology and third‑party suppliers to ensure that ICT services are supported effectively and to a high standard for the benefit of teaching, learning, administration and management.
Full training will be provided on the Trust’s helpdesk application and operating procedures.
All new starters take part in an induction and are mentored by an existing staff member.
37 hours per week standard shift: 08:00 – 16:00 (finish 15:30 on Friday) subject to operational need.
